NORAH'S began with a feeling most of us know and few of us name: the moment the door closes behind you, the day is finally over, and you can stop being everything you had to be all day.
That moment deserves something better than whatever was closest to hand.
What we make
Nightdresses, for now. Knee length, soft cotton-blend jersey, cut with room to move and finished with a ruffle or a run of eyelet lace at the hem. Sizes XS to 2XL, because comfort that only comes in three sizes isn't really comfort.
Our prints are drawn by hand — daisies scattered across forest green, a rainbow arcing between two clouds, tulips framing the words not perfect, just forgiven. Each one is a small, quiet thing to come home to.
How we make it
We work with a single knitting mill and keep our runs small and honest. We would rather sell out of a colour than sit on a warehouse of things nobody loved. Every piece is checked by hand before it is folded, and every order is packed by a person, not a machine.
What we believe
That rest is not a reward you earn after everything else is done. That the clothes you wear when nobody is watching say more about how you treat yourself than the ones you wear when they are. That coming home should feel like something.
